Land Development Applications

The following forms and information are available online to better assist you in preparing an application for land development in Surrey. Please return all Submission Requirements with application fees in person to the Planning and Development front counter at the City of Surrey , 14245 - 56th Ave, Surrey, B.C. V3X 3A2. Please do not attempt to calculate fees, but consult with a front counter staff person at the time of submitting your application. Note: Neighbourhood Concept Plan (NCP) amenity surcharge fees may apply.

1.  Land Development Application Form Mark the application type(s) that apply. Ensure all owner(s) sign the application and the Letter of Authorization if appointing an Agent. Lobbyists are required to complete the lobbyist registration form included with the application form.  To determine if this applies to you refer to the City's Lobbyist Registration Policy(No Applications will be received by fax or e-mail) 

2. Data Sheet 
More than one may apply to the proposed development.
Subdivision
Commercial/Industrial/Multiple Family Development must be attached to all building plans that are submitted as part of a Rezoning, Development Permit, Development Variance Permit, Land Use Contract, and Neighbourhood Pub application. Freestanding Sign

3.  Soil Contamination Questionnaire 
to be completed and signed by the owner(s) or authorized Agent. This form must be included with all applications for Rezoning, Subdivision, Development Permit and Development Variance Permit applications to determine if your site will be subject to the Ministry of Environment's Site Profile review for contaminated soil.

4. Title Search 
to be provided for each property included in an application. 

5. Proposed Subdivision Layout or Design
should conform to the standards noted in this bulletin. Applications for a Development Permit may be referred to the Surrey Advisory Design Panel at which time more detailed information may be required.

6. Development Inquiry
Status Inquiry for Development Projects and Commercial, Multi-family, and Industrial Building Permits.
