Tenders are invited for construction of: - West Newton Pump Station Forcemain 550m of 300mm diameter HDPE pipe;
- Gravity Sewer relief pipelines on 72nd Avenue east of 120th Street;
- New Inlet Chamber, Pig launching and retrieving facilities on the double barrel (600 and 800mm diameter) inverted siphon on the Lower Tynehead Sewer starting near 156th Street and 75th Avenue.
Work on 72nd Avenue must be undertaken at night and connections on the pig launching facilities must be undertaken during a dry period when the flows can be handled by one of the two inverted siphon barrels. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with "Tenders for West Newton Forcemain Upgrade; 72nd Avenue Sewer Relief and 156th Street Inlet Chamber & Pig Launching Facilities” and must be received at the office of the City Clerk, Surrey City Hall, 14245 ‑ 56 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3X 3A2, not later than 11:00 AM (local time), on September 8, 2009, and will be opened in public immediately thereafter. Copies of the Drawings, Tender Submission Documents and Contract Documents may be viewed at Vancouver Regional Construction Association, 3636 East 4th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., V5M 1M3, and the Engineering Department Front Counter at Surrey City Hall starting on August 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Copies thereof may be purchased from Omni Engineering Inc., 101- 1861 Welch Street, North Vancouver, BC V7P 1B7 (starting on August 20 (11:00 AM) on payment of the non‑refundable sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), GST inclusive.
