Tenders are invited for "Contract M.S.1209-001-11, 2009 Newton Water Works Package" involving the installation of ductile iron water main in the vicinity of the Newton Reservoir Park, and along 128th Street between 62A and 68 Avenues, Surrey, BC. The contract will include the following approximate items of work: - Supply and installation of 170m - 900 mm diameter ductile iron water main;
- Supply and installation of 1185m - 750 mm diameter ductile iron water main;
- Supply and installation of 30m - 600 mm diameter ductile iron water main;
- Supply and installation of 830m - 300 mm diameter ductile iron water main;
- Supply and installation of fittings, valves and related appurtenances.
Tenders must be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with "Tenders for Contract M.S.1209-001-11, 2009 Newton Water Works Package" and must be received at the office of the City Clerk, Surrey City Hall, 14245 - 56 Avenue, Surrey, BC, Canada V3X 3A2, not later than 11:00 a.m. (local time), on July 8, 2009 and will be opened in public immediately thereafter. Copies of the Drawings, Tender Submission Documents and Contract Documents may be viewed at the Engineering Department Front Counter at Surrey City Hall. Additional copies thereof may be purchased on or after June 17, 2009 from Paragon Engineering Ltd., #104 - 1515 Broadway Street, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6M2 on payment of the non-refundable sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), GST inclusive.
