General Manager, EngineeringThe General Manager of the Engineering Department for the City of Surrey reports to the City Manager. The General Manager is a member of the Senior Management Team which provides overall corporate leadership to the organization. The General Manager directs and manages the daily administration of the department and ensures the efficient and effective delivery of high quality services including water, sewer, drainage, garbage collection, transportation systems, realty services, and maintenance of City buildings for both existing residents and for new growth, in a timely, responsible and effective manner. Functional Areas Within the DepartmentTo meet the needs of the citizens of Surrey, the Engineering Department is organized into five divisions. These divisions are: Utilities & Transportation, Land Development, Operations and Realty Services.
