Rina Gill is a dynamic young woman who is ready to stand up for the issues facing Surrey.
She became an entrepreneur in Fall 2007 and opened her own multicultural marketing company. Around the same time, Rina successfully launched the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce – Vancouver Business Council and became the National Director of B.C. Operations. In June 2008, Rina received the ICCC “Member of the Year” award and took on additional responsibilities as the Vice-President of Marketing and Communications.
Rina also sits on the DiverseCity Leadership Council and is a nominated Director for the Vancouver Multicultural Society. All of her volunteer efforts allow her to work very closely with the Surrey business community, build strong relationships with local citizens and be involved in community initiatives.
Rina is running for City Council with the Surrey Civic Coalition and hopes to be the first Indo-Canadian woman elected to Surrey City Council.
