
Gary was born at St. Paul’s Hospital. He is 52. He grew up on a farm in Newton, and has lived in Surrey for 42 years. Married, father of two boys; loves music, movies and playing hockey.
Gary was previously on Council from 1987-1999 topping the polls several times during his six terms. Gary chose not to seek re-election in 1999. He now is Executive Director of a non-profit society in Surrey.
Gary stands for logic, equality and compassion. He will work hard for you and push for safer neighbourhoods, who guide their own destiny.
Gary also wants to use his national bargaining and business experience to make Surrey a base for green eco-friendly industry and opportunity.
Gary has lived through and conquered addiction and intends to make finding solutions to homelessness and addiction one of his priorities.
