Terry Allen
|
 Terry Allen was first elected to the Surrey Board of Education (formerly School Board) for the Surrey School District in 2002 and again in 2005.
He is chair of the School District's budget committee and the Board's representation on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Terry has lived in Surrey since 1981. He has three daughters, all of whom graduated from Surrey's school system.
Terry has worked for the Burnaby School District for more than 30 years. For the past 12 years, he has served as President and full officer for CUPE local 379, the union that represents support staff.
Terry has been active in the sports community including soccer, baseball and basketball, and has coached girls' softball for a number of years.
He has been involved in a number of United Way campaigns and the Surrey and Burnaby Food Banks. Terry is a founding member of the Surrey Civic Coalition.
