I'm someone who believes that we can improve the education our kids get. Not by getting them to work more, but by getting them to be active and allowing them some down time from school work so they are fresh and ready for school the next day.

I believe that kids need time to play and not only because the government mandates thirty minutes of physical activity per day, and I believe that when my work day is over, if my work is finished, I should be allowed to go home and pursue my other interests and passions, and our children should have the same freedom so they can play outside, practice music, draw, or do whatever inspires them.
