The 2009 online Home Owner Grant application will be available in mid-May 2009. For retroactive applications for the 2008 Home Owner Grant, please contact the Property Tax Section at 604 591-4181.
From mid-May to the end of the year, Surrey residents can apply for their Home Owner Grant on-line through the City's website. You must have the folio number and access code from your Property Tax Notice to apply. You will receive screen confirmation of your grant application to print for your records. Only one eligible owner need apply. On-line applications are for the current year grant only.

Electronic Property Tax Payments
If you pay your property taxes by internet, telephone banking, or if your mortgage company pays your taxes on your behalf, it is no longer necessary to manually complete the application form and mail or drop it off to us. The on-line Home Owner Grant will let you avoid the line-up at City Hall and save your postage.
When paying your property taxes by electronic banking through your financial institution, use your folio number as your account number. Search for payee "Surrey" and select the property tax listing from the results.
