Claim your Home Owner Grant Online

IT'S FAST, EASY, AND CONVENIENT!                         

Surrey residents can apply for their current Home Owner Grant online by clicking on the link below.

  1. Only one eligible registered owner needs to apply.
  2. You must have the folio number and access code from your property tax notice.
  3. Print the screen confirmation of your grant application for your records.
  4. There is no need to submit the paper application form to the City of Surrey.

Pay your Property Taxes Online

Save time and money by paying your property taxes online through your financial institution.  Use the folio number provided on your tax notice as the account number. Search for "Surrey" as the payee and select the property tax listing from the results.

Prevent common payment errors:

1.  Double check the folio number provided on your tax notice with the account number set up with the bank before making paymentIf you have purchased or sold a property you must update your banking records with the correct folio number

2.  Allow a minimum of 3 days for your financial institution to process property tax payments and keep all receipts and proof of payment.

You may schedule your payment for a future date when paying online.  Complete the online payment as usual and set the payment date to 3 days before the due date.  This will allow some time for you to check your account balance and verify the funds has been transferred. 

Note: Most financial institutions are on Eastern Standard Time and will stop accepting payments for the current day before the end of the work day.  Print a copy of the payment submission for your records.
