| After 27 years, thousands of performances, and more than one million theatre-goers, the seats in the Main Stage must be replaced. With the support of the City of Surrey, the local business community and our loyal patrons, new seats will be installed next year. You are invited to sponsor a seat: to leave a legacy, recognize a loved one or show your support for the arts! More than one million theatre-goers have shared the live theatre experience at the Surrey Arts Centre’s Main Stage. If the theatre has been part of your life, we want to hear your story. You could be honoured with a theatre seat in your name! Have you seen a performance that stayed with you? Have you sat in the audience and watched your children? Do you have a standing date with friends? Did you have your first kiss here? Find your calling? Meet your best friend? Give the performance of a lifetime? What’s your story? Stories will be collected through spring and summer. Submit yours now for a chance to be published in The Leader! This fall, a community jury will select three stories to share at the annual Business and the Arts Reception. The author of the winning story will be honoured with a seat in their name. |
