On Street Parking

The City of Surrey Highway & Traffic By-law, No. 13007, regulates the parking of vehicles on every street within the City Limits.

The Highway & Traffic By-law is maintained by the Engineering Traffic Section.  This section determines where parking restrictions are necessary.  They can be contacted at 604-591-4225.

This by-law is enforced by the By-law & Licensing Section. Commissionaires B.C. do most of the parking enforcement for the City of Surrey.

If you disagree with the parking infraction notice, you may request a review of your infraction by downloading the By-law Infraction Appeal Notice, completing and forwarding it to the By-law Section via mail, fax or in person.

PLEASE NOTE:  BY SUBMITTING A NOTICE OF APPEAL YOU ARE NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR THE VOLUNTARY PENALTY AMOUNT INDICATED ON YOUR INFRACTION.  IF YOUR APPEAL IS DENIED, FULL PAYMENT OR COURT ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.  IF YOUR APPEAL IS ACCEPTED, NO PAYMENT WILL BE NECESSARY.  APPEALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF YOUR INFRACTION HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID.
