Blackie Spit Park is located at the foot of McBride Avenue at Crescent Beach. Green Timbers Urban Forest Park is a terrific destination for a nature walk. The Salal Trail is a self-guided walk that begins at the SW corner of the park at 100th Ave. and 148 St. The kiosk at the trail head holds brochures that provide interesting natural and cultural information for specific stops along the trail.
