The Engineering Department is committed that "all new (transportation) infrastructure shall be constructed bicycle-friendly". As a result, the City streets have become more bike friendly with the creation of bike lanes and improvements to roadway infrastructure to accommodate cyclists.
Surrey's Parks are ideal for biking! Some trails are new and others date back thousands of years as routes for Canada's early generations. The City's greenways vision aims to eventually connect all parts of Surrey by pathways.
