Volunteer Development Program
Learn, grow and lead through our tailored workshops designed to sharpen and develop your skills.  Browse through the workshop selection and pick one or all of your favourites. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of 3 workshops and 14 hours of volunteer experience with our Parks, Recreation and Culture department. 

 

Please note registration for Fall begins on July 26, 2010.

 
Communicating Through Conflict ($12.75)
We all encounter people we find difficult to deal with. In this workshop, learn time-tested approaches that help defuse difficult situations, increase communication, and shift the focus from conflict to problem solving.
