Canadian Red Cross
The Canadian Red Cross helps people affected by emergencies and disasters—situations ranging from a housefire to a flood that disrupts an entire region of the country.

Emergency Preparedness for Industry and Commerce Council
EPICC is a nonprofit government endorsed society supported by and for the benefit of business and institutions throughout British Columbia, to influence and help businesses prepare for emergencies and disasters.
Emergency Social Services Association
ESSA is a non-profit association established to support Emergency Social Services (ESS) volunteers and communities in British Columbia in the development and maintenance of their ESS program. ESSA is not an Emergency Response Organization.
 
ESS Program Office - Victoria  
Emergency Social Services (ESS) provides short-term assistance to British Columbians who are forced to leave their homes because of fire, floods, earthquakes or other emergencies. This assistance includes food, lodging, clothing, emotional support and family reunification.

Surrey Emergency Program 
The Surrey Fire Service has been responsible for the Emergency Program since January 1994. Surrey's Emergency Bylaw provides for the establishment, administration and operation of an Emergency Plan and Program for the City. 
Surrey Search and Rescue    
The Surrey Search and Rescue Team is a registered non-profit society devoted to assisting in the recovery of missing persons primarily in South West British Columbia, in all conditions and in all types of weather. 
Surrey Emergency Program Amateur Radio  
Communications are a critical service in an emergency. Experience has shown when communications systems fail, and they often do, assistance efforts are hampered and loss of life and injuries increase. Amateur Radio has a long history of providing auxiliary communications services to support emergency and social services.
