Size and Location of Houses on ALR Properties

On February 25, 2008, Council considered Corporate Report R029 regarding proposed zoning by-law amendments to the General Agriculture Zone (A-1), Intensive Agriculture Zone (A-2), and One-Acre Residential Zone (RA) in the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR).  The proposed changes are intended to minimize the loss of productive farmland to residential uses by adding some limits to house size, building footprint, and location of residential uses on land within the ALR.

Corporate Report R029

Public Open House was held on April 9, 2008 to provide the public with an opportunity to view the proposed changes and provide feedback to the City.  The following links provide information that was presented at the Open House.
