A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings

By Dan Colley and Riverbank Arts Centre, Ireland

What to do about an angel who has fallen to earth? This spellbinding tale is brought to the stage in a way you've never seen before! Adapted from the short story of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez about an angel who has fallen to earth and the townsfolk who don't know what to do with him. This funny fable comes to life with the clever use of music, charming puppets, and livestream video projection. Don't miss this award-winning show from Ireland, right here in Surrey!

Join us in the lobby before the performance to make a puppet and see it come to life on screen with film installation artist, Jesse Napier.
