Your City Hall is now located in City Centre, and stands as an architectural landmark in the emerging downtown core.

This 210,000 square foot building is more than a City Hall. The heart of our city will be brought to life, with features like a City Hall Plaza as a central business district focal point, a Performing Arts Venue, new rental spaces and plaza community events.

Key Features

The new City Hall is a landmark in the city's core, and a key element of the Build Surrey City Centre Strategy. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certified City Hall building also features

Surrey City Hall is also accompanied by City Hall Plaza, an outdoor civic square that connects City Hall, our flagship Surrey City Centre Library, 3 Civic Plaza and SFU, and will serve as a community hub and gathering place for community celebrations.

Service Changes

New City Hall also brings service improvements to residents and customers, including

  • New streamlined one-stop shopping counter services
  • More than 25 online services across all departments

The relocation of City Hall is a big initiative, so while we have taken many steps to ensure no disruptions to the services we provide to residents, we appreciate your patience while we all make this transition.
