Your City Hall is located in City Centre, and stands as an architectural landmark in the emerging downtown core. This 210,000 square foot building is more than a City Hall. The heart of our city will be brought to life, with features like a City Hall Plaza as a central business district focal point, a Performing Arts Venue, new rental spaces and plaza community events.
Coming to City Centre? Get the information you need about underground parking at City Hall. If you're taking the skytrain to get here, take the Expo Line and stop at Surrey Central. We're a five minute walk north on 135 Street, and make a left on 104 Ave.
City Hall is a landmark in the city's core, and a key element of the Build Surrey City Centre Strategy. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certified City Hall building also features
- A community/district energy system to heat and cool City Hall, and and
- Dual purpose Council Chambers, which will host Council meetings and also be available for public rentals for business functions, performing arts and cultural events.
Surrey City Hall is also accompanied by City Hall Plaza, an outdoor civic square that connects City Hall, our flagship Surrey City Centre Library, 3 Civic Plaza and SFU, and will serve as a community hub and gathering place for community celebrations.
