December 22, 2017 - The following permit application forms are now in effect as of January 1, 2018:

September 1, 2017 - New Area Maps

The city area map is now divided into three sections, North, Central & South View the above document to familiarize yourself with the designated Electrical Safety Officers.

August 2017

August 21, 2017 - Revised 2017 Surrey Demand Load Calculation

The Surrey Demand Load Caclulation for has been revised for simplicity. Older forms will no longer be accepted and will be rejected as of September 1, 2017.

August 8, 2017 - Revised Guidelines for Customer Owned High Voltage Installations

The "Customer-Owned Indoor High Voltage Installation Guidlines" and the "Customer-Owned Outdoor High Voltage Installation Guidlines"  have been condensed into one form. Older forms will no longer be accepted and will be rejected as of September 1, 2017.

August 8, 2017 - Revised Service Connection Checklist (Under 750 Volts, 300 Amps And Greater)

The Commercial Service Checklist - EG-003 has been revised as the "Service Connection Checklist (Under 750 Volts, 300 Amps And Greater)". Older forms will no longer be accepted and will be rejected as of September 1, 2017.

June 2017

June 20, 2017 - Updated Electrical Contractor Permit Application Forms

Effective July 1, 2017 the above forms will take effect for electrical contractors wanting to apply for permits.

June 20, 2017 - Updated Permit Fee Schedules are in effect as of July 1, 2017.

The above schedule reflects changes made to electrical permits.

June 20, 2017 - New Electrical Permit Amendment Request Forms are now in effect.

It is now be mandatory to submit the above form whenever an amendment to the permit is required. Amendments made to the permit may have addtional fee's charged towards the permit.
