Meet Surrey's Culture Days Ambassador

Local artist Mandeep Wirk has been selected to be a BC Culture Days Ambassador! Mandeep is a visual artist, writer, educator, poet, photographer and artist-in-residence at the Surrey Art Gallery. Visit her Art and Culture in Surrey Facebook page and find her on Twitter at @MandyWirk.

Each ambassador, awarded $1000 towards the production of their own Culture Days event, will act as spokespeople for Culture Days and engage the public to discover the "behind-the-scenes" world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators and designers at work in their community during this exciting weekend of art and culture.
