Guildford Recreation Centre - Aquatics

May 19 to May 21, 2018: Guildford Recreation Centre will be open from 8am to 8pm for Victoria Long Weekend. 

May 30 to June 1, 2018: Guildford Recreation Centre will hosting the 2018 Canadian Artistic Swimming Championships. Please see Announcements below for schedules changes during this time. 

Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday: 6am to 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 6am to 8pm
Holidays: 8am to 8pm

Guildford Aquatics Centre is designed to meet the needs of all Surrey residents. Our pool is used for recreational purposes and for hosting aquatic events and competitions. With our commitment to building healthy communities, Parks, Recreation and Culture provides a wide variety of programs such as aquacise classes, swimming lessons, lifesaving and lifeguard courses at this facility.

Facility Features

  • An 8-lane, 50m FINA-standard Olympic size competition pool
  • A leisure pool with a lazy river, spray features, and a toddler area
  • Family friendly hot tub
  • Water slide and springboard diving
  • Steam room and dry sauna
  • Large family friendly universal change area
  • Spectator seating for 200-300 people for aquatic sport competitions
  • Expanded fitness and weight room facilities

Announcements

2018 Canadian Artistic Swimming Championships

Wednesday May 30 at 8:30am to 1:30pm

  • Main Pool 25M deep will be closed to the public. Limited length lanes available.
  • Due to the event, Water Walking at 10:45am will run as a non-traditional class without music focusing on strength and feedback with the instructor.

Thursday May 31 at 7:30am to 1:30pm

  • Main Pool 25M deep will be closed to the public. Limited length lanes available.
  • Due to the Event, all aquafit classes will run as a non-traditional classes without music focusing on strength and feedback with the instructors.

Friday June 1 at 8am to 3pm

  • Main Pool 25M deep will be closed to the public. Limited length lanes available
  • Due to the event, Shallow Water Aquafit  at 9am and Water Walking at 10:45am will run as non-traditional classes without music focusing on strength and feedback with the instructors.

Recreation Passcards

All patrons will be required to present a Recreation Passcard before entering a City of Surrey Indoor Pool. Recreation Passcards are issued free of charge and include many benefits. See Front Desk staff for more details.
