Hawthorne Park Sounds of Summer

Summer sunsets, live music and stunning settings. From classical strings to gypsy swing, you’ll hear it all during Surrey’s Sounds of Summer. This free live music series in the city is a fantastic way to discover a new garden, rediscover a favourite space, or relax and unwind within a beautiful outdoor setting.

Be sure to bring your folding chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to fully enjoy all 9 performances with Sounds of Summer! Performances are from 6:30pm to 8pm each evening.

Sounds of Summer will be bringing live music to your parks every Wednesday evening in July and August 2016.

1 Garden gates at The Glades will open at 5pm for extended visiting hours before the performances begin. A new parking lot is available south of the main entrance. Carpool or drop-off is still recommended. Pets are not allowed at this location. Some paths are wheelchair accessible and may be on a moderate incline.

2 Garden gates at Darts Hill Garden Park will be open at 5pm for extended visiting hours before the performances begin. Pets are not allowed at this location. This is a large hillside garden with limited wheelchair access.
