About Bose Forest Park
The Bose Forest Park is a new park site located in West Cloverdale. The park was acquired by the City during the subdivision and development of the surrounding neighbourhood. Bose Forest Park measures an area of 7.4 hectares (18.3 acres) and is predominantly forested. The City is planning to maintain the site as a forested park, with opportunities for developing passive park amenities such as forest pathways, viewpoints, seating areas and natural play.
Information and Updates
The park concept plan has been approved by Council and construction is now underway.
The public consultation process for the Bose Forest park wrapped up at the end of 2014. Review the Public Engagement Summary to get an understanding of the feedback and design direction that was received. The consultation process included two open houses and three online Cityspeaks surveys over the course of 10 months. Thank you to everyone who was involved and for your great feedback and comments! The information gathered through our public consultation process helped create an amazing park concept plan.

Prior to initiating our park design process we undertook an Environmental Assessment and site survey. The assessment includes mapping and analysis of the existing vegetation and wildlife communities. The report helped guide the park design and the location of habitat enhancement areas. Details of the final Environmental Assessment were presented at the second open house on October 2, 2014 and are summarized in the Open House 2 Display Boards.
