About Bose Forest Park
The Bose Forest Park is a new 7.4 hectares (18.3 acres) community park in West Cloverdale. Acquired by the City during the development of the surrounding neighbourhood, the Bose Forest is a diverse natural area, which includes a sensitive swamp ecosystem. The City plans to retain the park as a forest, with opportunities for developing passive park amenities such as forest pathways, viewpoints, seating areas and natural play.
The park concept plan has been approved by Council and construction is now underway. We anticipate the park to be opened in Spring, 2017.
The design of this new park included a comprehensive public consultation process. Review the Public Engagement Summary to get an understanding of the feedback and design direction that was received. Thank you to everyone who was involved and for your great feedback and comments!

Our design process was also advised by a formal Environmental Assessment and site survey. The assessment included mapping and analysis of the existing vegetation and wildlife communities. Details of the final Environmental Assessment were presented at the second open house in October, 2014 and are summarized in the Open House # 2 Display Boards.
