Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA)
Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA) is an independent, non-profit society dedicated to the support of the Surrey Art Gallery. As an advocate for the Gallery, SAGA raises funds and operates programs which complement those presented by Gallery staff.
Proceeds from SAGA's fundraising contribute to Gallery exhibitions, publications, programs and projects.

SAGA's beautiful gift shop is located in the Surrey Art Gallery, which is in the Surrey Arts Centre. We offer a varied selection of original work by artists and artisans from around the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands. Choose from decorative and functional pottery, handcrafted jewellery, limited edition prints, hand blown glass, original paintings, artisan soaps, photography, turned wood, fabric art, and art cards.

Art Rental and Sale
The opportunity for art lovers to enjoy original paintings by local artists in their homes and offices is the focus of the Art Rental and Sale program. It provides the opportunity for people to experiment with what suits their taste without making a significant commitment. The paintings—in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and collage, and ranging in style from realism to abstract—are on display in the Gift Shop and along the art rental hallway.
Monthly rental rates range from $5 to $30. For those who choose to purchase a work, 80% of the first year's rent is applied toward the purchase price.
Thursday Artist Talks
SAGA co-sponsors this program with the Surrey Art Gallery. Each month (except July and August), members of SAGA and the public can see illustrated presentations given by regional artists, artisans and art experts.

SAGA believes that contemporary art provides all people with an opportunity to reflect upon our

- ideas of our time.
It is important that the residents of our young, growing city have access to our visual and cultural heritage. SAGA's efforts play an essential role in realizing these goals through the events and services provided, and by actively supporting the programs of the Surrey Art Gallery. SAGA is a member of the Volunteer Committee of Art Museums, the Canadian Friends of Museums, and the Arts Council of Surrey.
The Surrey Art Gallery Association invites you to discover, enjoy and support the Surrey Art Gallery and the visual arts in this community. Membership in SAGA is a way of showing your support for our city's Gallery and arts community. Membership privileges include a newsletter, art rental, and a discount at the SAGA Gift Shop. Memberships are renewed in May of each year and include individual, family, student, senior and corporate categories.
