Incredible Entertainment

Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

A fast-paced farcical adventure
By Ken Ludwig
October 12-22, 2016

Five actors play over 40 comical characters, filling the stage with suspects, allies, and heirs in this zany whodunit based on the Arthur Conan Doyle classic. When the wealthy Henry Baskerville is threatened by the fable of a bloodthirsty hound on the moors, Holmes and Watson are on the case to sniff out the culprit. The game’s afoot in this hilarious thriller that’s anything but elementary!

Running time approximately 2 hours, including intermission

The (Post) Mistress

The small-town cabaret of sealed secrets
By Tomson Highway
January 11-21, 2017

Marie-Louise is an effervescent, charismatic postal worker in the fictional town of Lovely, who seems to know everything about everyone—and is eager to share all the gossip with you. A fun and quirky one-woman show, The (Post) Mistress is a uniquely Canadian cabaret full of music and charm.

Running time approximately 2 hours 10 minutes, including intermission

Bittergirl: The Musical

The howlingly funny show about getting over getting dumped
Book by Annabel Fitzsimmons, Alison Lawrence, and Mary Francis Moore
February 22–March 4, 2017

This cathartic and catchy musical charts the romantic breakups of three women and the lively antics that ensue. ‘60s girl group music like “Be My Baby,” “And Then He Kissed Me,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and “Where Did Our Love Go?” provide the perfect backdrop for the bittergirls’ journey back to happiness.

Running time approximately 2 hours 15 minutes, including intermission

VocalEye

Patrons who are blind or partially sighted can enjoy an enhanced theatre experience with VocalEye audio description. VocalEye patrons use a headset with a single earpiece and volume control that allows them to hear the show and the live description simultaneously.

VocalEye’s professionally-trained team begins the broadcast 15 minutes before curtain with detailed descriptions of the set, characters and costumes. Once the show begins, the “describer,” speaking into a transmitter, relays the physical action and visual detail between the lines of dialogue.

VocalEye audio description is offered during these Saturday 4pm performances:

  • Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery—October 22
  • The (Post) Mistress—January 21
  • Bittergirl: The Musical—March 4

We are pleased to offer these seats for only $25, and you can purchase tickets by phone or in person as of June 28 (not available as a subscription). VocalEye equipment is limited, so reserving ahead is recommended.
