Summer Salon: South Surrey & White Rock Art Society

View this summer salon of paintings, drawings, and mixed media works by members of the South Surrey and White Rock Arts Society.

Be transported to a serene place this summer with paintings, drawings, and mixed media works that convey the tranquility and beauty of nature. From a quilted landscape of Semiahmoo Bay south of White Rock to a painting of a sunset in Brackley Bay, PEI, members of the South Surrey and White Rock Art Societydepict a range of geographies, styles, and media. Amongst the numerous landscape paintings are images of plants and animalsbonsai trees, pandas, peacocks, sunflowers, roses, mountains, streams, and more. About the Society
The South Surrey and White Rock Art Society (SSWRAS) is comprised of artists and supporters. Currently, there are over 100 members at various skill levels in oil, acrylic, watercolour, and mixed media. The Society is a supportive group working together to share knowledge and create educational and exhibition opportunities for members, as well as to support those members who wish to sell their art. The group meets at 7pm at South Surrey Recreation and Arts Centre, 14601 20th Avenue in Surrey on the second Monday of every month except July and August.
