Come over to the North Surrey Arena, located near the Surrey Central Skytrain Station, for skating lessons, hockey tournaments and events.

With convenient transit access and a pool next door, North Surrey Arena is the focal point of community activities in Whalley.

North Surrey Arena is closed for the season, we will be reopening for public programs on Monday September 12, 2016. If you are inquiring about dry floor rentals, please contact us at 604-501-5877 for availability.

About North Surrey Arena

North Surrey Arena has two ice surfaces. Arena 1, built in 1966 and Arena 2 was added in 1989. The Arena is located next to a SkyTrain station and bus loop for ease in transportation.

North Surrey Arena is closed for the season. Check out the Surrey Sport and Leisure Arena and South Surrey Arena as both sites will remain open and be running public drop-in programs during the Spring and Summer season.

Announcements

New Helmet Regulations - Starting September 14, 2015

Starting September 14, CSA certified hockey, ski or snowboard helmets are mandatory for anyone participating in Learn to Skate lessons. Bike helmets are not permitted as they do not offer the protection needed for ice skating. For Fall 2015, there are a limited number of helmets available free of charge for lesson participants.
