    MP5 Fitness Room:  Focuses on strengthening, stretching and relaxing exercises. A variety of techniques and postures are used to improve balance, strength and flexibility. May include a meditation component.

    MP7 - Fitness:  Focuses on strengthening, stretching and relaxing exercises. A variety of techniques and postures are used to improve balance, strength and flexibility. May include a meditation component.

    MP1 Community Lounge:  A low to moderate intensity class designed to introduce upper and lower body exercise techniques. Chairs are used during some classes but are always optional.

Our fully accessible facility offers registered and drop in programs for everyone in the community. We're open seven days a week and offer licensed onsite and offsite preschools, multi-purpose rooms, dedicated arts space, community and youth lounges, gymnasiums, weight room, a café, free parking and free wi-fi.

Arts Programs

South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre and the Semiahmoo Arts Council offers a variety of arts programs to the community to participate in. Join an art class, attend an art event or drop by the facility to view an exhibition in the Turnbull gallery.

Car Trunk Sale: September 9 from 9am to 1pm 

Come find a steal of a deal at our Car Trunk Sale! The Car Trunk Sale will have gently used items, household good, used books and other great finds.

South Surrey Rides - All Wheels Jam & Skate Competition: September 9 from 1pm to 5pm

Grab your ride and head down to the South Surrey Skate Park for a fun filled day of wheeling action. The event is for ages 10 to 18 and will include a beginner, intermediate and advanced Skateboard Competition and All Wheels Jam. There will be prizes, giveaways, food and more! Registration begins on September 9 at 12:30pm, helmets are mandatory for participation.

    Enjoy savings by purchasing swipe, 1-month or 1-year passes if you plan to participate regularly. Use your recreation pass at any facility for drop-in: swim, skating, fitness, weights, sports and more! Fees are valid from September 1, 2016, to August 31, 2017, and are subject to change without notice. Our 1-month and 1-year passes are valid at all City-operated facilities. All prices include taxes.

    We offer 4,000 square feet of fitness space with a hardwood sprung floor and two walls of mirrors. We also have TRX suspension training classes and a spin studio.
