Check out the LIVE 5210 Playboxes
Various Parks  | Everyday in October | Dawn to Dusk 
Be active and access sports equipment and games with Live 5-2-1-0 Playboxes. Simply unlock the box, enjoy the gear, return it when you're finished and have fun! Everyone is able to sign up for free access to the Playbox, which is accessible from dawn to dusk, or when the park is open. Please return the equipment to the Playbox after each use to allow it to be available for other users.

National Seniors Day Town Centre Events

Lifeguard Information Session
Newton Recreation Centre | October 10 from 6pm to 7pm
Learn how you can get started on a path towards being a lifeguard or aquatic instructor! Find out about the training process and volunteer opportunities. Attendance to the sessions are free but all participants must be ages 10 and older and register online, in person or by phone to secure their spot.

Come to the Volunteer Information Session to have your questions answered in person and find out: how to apply to be a volunteer, where you can volunteer, which volunteer opportunities are right for you, what benefits you'll get as a volunteer with the City of Surrey. Drop in and enjoy a fun-filled Family Sunday of artmaking, storytelling, and performances! Create art with exhibiting artists and art educators that explore the theme “Sensing the Land” in connection with our Ground Signals exhibition. Interactive dance performances await you at 1pm or 2:30pm. Everyone is welcome at this free event—children must be with an adult.
