Announcements

Work is completed on the 4 natural turf soccer fields with 2 overlapping cricket fields, as well as the fourth artificial turf all weather soccer field. All fields are open for booking. This new artificial field features line layouts so it can be booked for 8 v. 8 soccer games, as well as Ultimate Frisbee.

Over the next 2 years, the City will continue work on the park, including the construction of a new waterpark, a new indoor soccer warm-up facility, a new rubberized walking track, 3 additional volleyball courts, as well as playground improvements and further upgrades to the walking pathways. When completed, the Newton Athletic Park will provide Surrey residents with Metro Vancouver's largest and most exciting outdoor athletic park facility.
