About Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park is a new 3.03 hectare (7.5 acres) community park, and the largest of ten new parks being planned for City Centre.

The park is located between 139 and 140 street, south of Forsyth Road Elementary School. The park features a dog off-leash area, destination nature playground and supporting picnic areas and pathways.

The park was designed through a community consultation process that included an open house and surveys.

Forsyth Park acts as a primary gathering space in the neighbourhood. The nature play area was funded by a $500,000 gift from TD Bank Group to commemorate Canada’s 150th birthday. The donation to the City of Surrey is one of seven major TD-funded green space revitalization projects across the country, and is one of 150 projects being completed as a part of the “TD Common Ground" project.
