Three bickering historians—one English (Alex Gullason), one French (Carly Pokoradi), and one First Nations (Frankie Cottrell)—battle to tell their version of Canadian history. Boring, right? Not!

With song and sketch comedy they pair pop culture references with historical happenings. Consider Leonard Cohen singing about obscure Canadian inventions, William Shatner performing the story of Etienne Brule, a Spaghetti Western about the Red River Resistance, the FLQ crisis as a hockey game between the Leafs and the Habs, the fur trade from Justin Beaver’s point of view, the MacKenzie brothers illustrating the Cold War, a puppet version of the Ojibway/Anishinabe creation myth, the story of Henry Hudson as an episode of Mr. Dressup, and the comedy team of Cabot and Costello.

It’s 60 laugh-packed minutes!
