Description: The Lambert Residence is representative of the pattern of construction of large estates on large plots of land in South Surrey through the postwar era. The house is an excellent and rare example of Postmodern architecture in Surrey, as evidenced by its exterior and interior ornament and detail. Once primarily a rural area, the house now exists within a much denser immediate area.

The house is significant for its impressive architecture, constructed beginning in 1977, and the site itself is significant for its estate-like setting and its mature landscaping, which includes numerous mature trees, such as Douglas firs and cedars.
