Come join us April 12 and 26 as we learn different ways to be creative. Our group meets every other week, taking turns sharing a different way to make art. So far, we have learned how to draw anime, tap dance, felt, paint with acrylics, and write Chinese New Year banners.

This is a safe and supportive environment to try something new. No art skills required. Open to ages 12 and older.

During April, we are participating in Animation Month. This is a series of video-making events that culminate in a Youth Night at UrbanScreen. Come to the Creative Skill Share to learn how to make stop-motion animation videos, flipbooks, and digital animation. Then come back at the end of the month to see your work on the big screen.

Contact Edward Westerhuis, the Youth and Community Art Coordinator, if you have any questions. Write to communityart@surrey.ca or call 604-591-4194.
