Drop-in Activities

There's more to explore with these free, year-round, drop-in activities:

  • Nature Story Times: held daily at 10:30am in the Sky Room.
  • Nature walks: held the third Saturday of each month.
  • Discovery backpacks: borrow a backpack full of activities to take make your visit extra fun.
  • Fishing rod loans: drop by during opening hours to borrow a fishing rod (for free!) and try your hand fishing at Green Timbers Lake.
  • Exploration room: our Sky Room is full of books, games and activities to kick-start your nature adventures outside.

Nature Programs

Give your child an opportunity to make new friends and have fun outside with our day camps, birthday parties, Nature Preschool, and other early years programs. Daycares and groups can book a private Explore Program for a memorable nature experience together.

School Programs and Teacher Workshops

Teachers, complement your classroom teaching by bringing your class on one of our elementary school programs or preschool field trips, and build your skills and confidence teaching outdoors by attending a Pro-D day workshop.
