The City of Surrey has been added as a stop on the fourth season of Rogers Hometown Hockey, its cross-Canada road trip. The tour will stop at Surrey City Hall Plaza on December 9 and 10, offering a weekend of free outdoor hockey festivities for all ages.

In addition to providing an opportunity for the communities of Surrey to come together and show their passion for the game, the two-day event will offer a chance to recognize local up and coming talent and meet NHL alumni.

Fans can also watch an all-Canadian match-up between the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs on Sportsnet at the Rogers Hometown Hockey outdoor viewing party on Sunday, December 10. The show will be broadcast live from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio and hosted by iconic Canadian sportscaster Ron MacLean and co-host Tara Slone.
