About the Newton Arena
The Newton Arena, built in 1973, is located across from the Newton Recreation Centre and adjacent to the Community Centre. It's centrally located in Surrey, and features:
- 17,000 square feet of exhibit space
- Bench seating for 150
- Score board with flexible scoring and timing capabilities
- 1 Meeting room
- 2 Multipurpose rooms
- 4 Multi-use dressing rooms
- Wheel chair accessible on ground level
- Skate Shop
- 25' high ceiling
- Parking stalls for 122
We offer skating lessons and hockey programs for all ages. See the hockey programs equipment list (PDF. New window.). Birthday parties at the Arena include room rental, skating, and skate and helmet rentals.
