Limited offerings of a selection of City of Surrey skating programs will resume this fall providing residents with more recreation options. All programs require advanced reservations and will follow new health protocols in place.

Registered Drop in Skating

Stick & Puck, Adult Figure Skating, Adult Skating, and public skating begins the week of November 9th at Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex. Register weekly for drop-in sessions starting on November 1 at 9:00pm.  Limited skate and helmet rentals will be available and must be pre-paid for using contactless payment. Equipment will be sanitized between uses. We recommend that people bring their own equipment where possible. Find the schedule at surrey.ca/drop-in. Programs may be scaled up or down depending on demand and public safety.

Adult Co-Ed Recreational Hockey League

Men and women ages 19+ can stay fit and have fun playing non-contact hockey every Saturday at Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex. Season starts November 14 and runs through March. Registration is now open and continues until mid-December. Full gear is required. Jerseys, scorekeepers, and referees are provided.

Learn to Skate

Lessons for preschool and children intermediate and advanced levels only start November 14 at Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex Arena. Limited skate and helmet rentals will be available and must be pre-paid for using contactless payment. Registration is now open.
