1765 - 167 Street is currently an open greenspace between 17A Avenue and 17B Avenue at 167 Street. This parkland is a portion of a larger planned neighbourhood park within the Sunnyside Heights NCP.
A portion of the lands directly to the west of this site, 16607 - 16 Avenue, will be added to this park in the future. Once acquired, we’ll be reaching out to the community to plan the larger neighbourhood park. In the meantime, we are planning for temporary amenities in the existing park to help serve the growing neighbourhood in the interim.
Park Planning Phase
An in person open house was held on April 23, 2022. Residents were invited to share their opinions on the park and select amenities. The information gathered at this meeting were used to finalize plans for the park.
