Skateboard & BMX Parks

Are you a skateboarder, BMX bike rider, in-line skater, or scooter-rider? 

Surrey has lots of skate parks where you can practice, and the City of Surrey also offers programs where you can develop your skills and learn new tricks.

The City of Surrey recommends you wear a wear a helmet when active in our Youth Parks.

Learn to Skateboard or Ride BMX

Every spring and summer you can search our Online Recreation Listing for Skateboarding and BMX Biking lessons that will be offered by City of Surrey instructors.

BMX Biking

Sign up for a weekly lessons or camp to improve your skills, learn tricks and techniques and to meet other BMX enthusiasts.


We offer skateboard programs across the City of Surrey at all skate parks. Take a class to learn new skills and tricks to show your friends in the bowl or across the plaza.

Surrey Rides Skateboard Events

Surrey also a year-round Skateboard and BMX series called Surrey Rides. Events run city-wide at all City of Surrey Youth Parks.

All events are $5 or 2 cans of food to enter with all proceeds being donated to the Surrey Food Bank. Stay tuned for upcoming dates! These events are family friendly and helmets are mandatory.
