Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House’s first school program complements the Grades Kindergarten to 2 Social Studies and Visual Arts curriculum by focusing on belonging and interconnectedness. Surrounded by nature and water, Totest Aleng provides land-based learning opportunities that center students in Indigenous ways of being and knowing.
Where Am I? Who Am I? (K – 2)

Know whose Territories we are on; think about what it means to be a responsible community member; explore ways of expressing who we are. Through mapping, nature and art activities, students are immersed on the land, and in turn will explore what it means to belong and be connected.
This program takes place in an open-air pavilion and outdoors. Pre and post visit activities will be provided.
