Invitation to Tenderers

The City of Surrey (the “Owner”) invites Tenders for heritage building rehabilitation work, located at 17710 - 56A Avenue, Surrey BC V3S 5H8.

The Work includes the provision of all equipment, labour, disposals, materials and incidentals required to complete all of the Work as described herein these tender documents for restoration of two historic buildings. The buildings are in place on new foundations and the local site area is fenced off from public access.  The adjacent streets, parking lots and buildings are however to remain open to the public.

The Work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Minor concrete work
  • Rough and finish carpentry
  • Exterior wall and opening improvements
  • Roofing, gutter drainage and chimney repair work
  • Interior improvements and finishing
  • Associated mechanical and electrical work
  • Perimeter drainage, site servicing connections, grading and landscaping

INFORMATION MEETING
An information meeting will be hosted by the Owner’s Representative to discuss the Owner’s requirements under this ITT (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Tenderers, Tenderers who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the Information Meeting and to have received all of the information given at the Information Meeting.  At the time of issuance of this ITT a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

ADDENDA
Tenderers are required to check the Owner’s Website for any updated information and addenda issued before the Closing Time.

If the Owner determines that an amendment is required to this ITT, the Owner’s Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the Owner’s website www.surrey.ca (the “Owner’s Website”) and upon posting will be deemed to form a part of this ITT.  No amendment of any kind to the ITT is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the Owner’s Website.  Upon submitting a Tender, Tenderers will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the Owner’s Website.
