Adapted Programs

Join activities and learn new skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment! We offer many services and programs for people with disabilities so they can have an active and healthy lifestyle. To create an accessible community, all City of Surrey indoor pools also include pool accessibility features.

Programs for All Ages

Our programs include one-to-one support, if necessary. We also offer seasonal day camps for children ages 6 to 13. 

Children

Register your child ages 4 to 12 for adapted skating lessons at arenas or swimming lessons at indoor pools in Surrey. We also offer Fun for Kids, a social recreation program for children to make crafts, paint, cook, play games in the gymnasium and much more. 

Youth

Sign up your teen ages 13 to 18 for adapted skating lessons at arenas or swimming lessons at indoor pools in Surrey. We also offer Youth on the Move, a social recreation program where participants can explore indoor and outdoor attractions around the Lower Mainland.

Adults

Adults ages 19 and older with disabilities can take part in an active and healthy programs. We also offer drop in floor hockey and Your Place, a drop in social recreation program which includes crafts, games, movies, potlucks and much more.  

Adapted Sports 

We also offer six adapted sport programs at recreation facilities, including: I AM Game, boccia, power soccer, wheelchair basketball, sledge hockey and wheelchair tennis.
