32 Avenue Improvements
The City continues to invest in 32 Avenue to improve traffic flow, increase road safety and support growth.
Project description
32 Avenue is a key east-west link serving South Surrey including Rosemary Heights, Morgan Creek, and North Grandview Heights neighbourhoods. It also serves the Campbell Heights Business Park and is a designated truck route.
We have already widened 32 Avenue from King George to 168 Street to improve traffic flow, increase road safety, and support city growth. Next, we plan to widen 176 Street to 196 Street in multiple phases to improve road safety for cyclists and pedestrians and ensure traffic keeps moving to support efficient movement of goods and services to Campbell Heights.
Campbell Heights plays a crucial role in Surrey’s economic development by fostering businesses and industries. The Campbell Heights Business Park is one of Surrey's largest industrial and commercial hubs creating over 7000 jobs for the region.
