Bear Creek Stadium
A new destination athletics centre planned for Bear Creek Park.
About the project
The City is planning to build a vibrant new athletic destination at Bear Creek Park that delivers:
- A grandstand with permanent seating for 2,200 people (2/3 covered) with possible expansion of another 1,000 temporary seats;
- New changerooms and public washrooms located underneath the grandstand;
- An upgraded track aligned with international sport standards;
- Upgraded plaza areas for concession and ticketing spaces.
The project will deliver a sports facility that serves Surrey’s community needs and meets the logistical requirements associated with event hosting. Bear Creek Stadium will also contribute to the positive character of the park, exhibiting design excellence with resiliency and longevity.
