Class Activity: Love Where You Live Art Wrap

Why do you love where you live? Share why you love where you live through art, and you’ll have the chance to help beautify a utility kiosk in your school’s neighbourhood.  As a classroom activity, have students draw, color, or paint why you love where you live. Think about:

  • What are your favorite places in your neighborhood?
  • What are your favorite memories in these places?
  • How do you help take care of your neighborhood?
  • What makes you proud of your neighborhood?

Teachers can send artwork to to be considered use in wrapping a kiosk near your school.  This opportunity is based on availability of funding, appropriateness of artwork, and availability of appropriate locations for wrapping.
