Public Engagement
Discover how to provide input on things like City infrastructure, services, improvements, and land use planning.
Surrey is young, multi-cultural and diverse, and is growing fast. Ensuring we hear from from diverse voices helps create a city that reflects our population. This also encourages inclusion and civic participation for everyone in Surrey.

Public Engagement Strategy
The Public Engagement Strategy provides the foundation for community engagement in Surrey. It identifies the City's vision, values, principles and outcomes for engagement.
Next steps
On June 14, 2021, Council endorsed the Public Engagement Strategy. Next, we will establish a community engagement working group to support the implementation of the Strategy and Toolkit.
Past Engagement Results
We use multiple engagement methods to help shape decisions including open surveys, focus groups, open houses, public meetings and steering group meetings.
