About the 55+ BC Games
The 55+ BC Games are an annual, multi-sport event hosted by a different community in British Columbia each year. On average, 3,500 to 4,000 participants from around BC compete in 20+ sports.
The BC Senior Games Society (BCSGS) has been overseeing the staging of the Games since 1988. Their vision is that communities across BC are transformed by the inspirational lifestyles of the 55+ BC Games participants.

Try Something New
Have you ever wanted to try a sport? The ‘Try It’ 55+ Sports and Games offers a free experience of various sports and games that may be of interest.
Through offering ‘Try It’ 55+ Sports and Games we aim to connect community, engage older adults in sports that promote physical activity, maintain mobility and support social and health benefits. Community ‘Try It’ opportunities invite you to explore an activity that you may not have otherwise experienced.
Try It activities will be planned throughout the seasons offering both outdoor and indoor experiences. No equipment is required, only pre-registration.
55+ Sports and Games Try It: Pickleball

Join us and try the popular sport of pickleball. Learn basic skills, game play rules and tips. All skill levels and abilities are welcome.
