Youth Basketball and Dance Tournament
Guildford Recreation Centre is hosting a basketball and dance competition on April 15, 2023 from 12- 8pm for youth between the ages of 13-18! There will also be art installations from local Surrey youth highlighting culture. Ballers, start gathering your team for a 5vs5 elimination-style tournament. Dancers, get ready for one of the City's largest battles in over 3 years. Join us for great prizes, special guest appearances, and more!
Basketball
Grab your friends for our largest 5v5 tournament! Only one member per team needs to register for your group. Teams can have up to a maximum of 8 players on their roster. There are three categories: junior, seniors, and ladies. If you don't have a team, fear not as you can register as an individual!
Dance
Join us for a 2v2 All Styles battle at the Surrey Youth Showcase for a chance to win some great prizes. Our judges include world renowned dancers including Humuza with two more to be announced. Please note, dancers can register as individuals if they do not have a partner.
Art
The 2023 Surrey Youth Showcase will feature various youth artists from our community! Any youth from Surrey can submit their art for a chance to be highlighted at the event. Preference will be given to artists whose style encompasses elements of Hip Hop culture. To submit your art, please email youth@surrey.ca.
